teaching children computer programming

This is a fantastic collection of tons of resources, with a brief explanation of why they work to teach programming, and organized in a comprehensive order (starting with games that teach logical thinking and moving toward more complex programming education).

Spelling Program: Spelling connections

We haven't had any need to actually study spelling yet. So far I have a bunch of kids who just absorb spelling. So I don't know how well this would work for kids who really need to study spelling.

I do like the proofreading option, though! Traditional spelling programs don't teach you how to find misspelled words, and that's important.
