School Administration Software (for record keeping, planning, etc).

Many state homeschool laws require record-keeping. You can download and use the same software the schools use--for free:

There are administration (attendance, grades, etc), teaching, planning, and online learning software applications you can use.

Worth looking at.

FreeWorld U--a complete preK-12 curriculum online

http://www.freeworldu.org/static/index.aspx

This includes Pre-K through 12th grade, plus pre-med and medical courses. It is "flashcard-based learning"--in other words, online textbooks with a few (very few) multimedia elements inserted into the lessons.  The textbooks are solid.

This is a great resource. You could use it for all of your learning. Gifted kids will get bored with the same-ness of every lesson, but the information presented is actually more advanced than some curricula I've seen. I would use this in conjunction with other activities.
